SurveyJunkie – Is It Legit Or A Scam?

A screenshot picture of survey junkie website homepage

Introduction:

Online surveys are everywhere these days. In fact, some will usually do them just for fun, while others do them for fun, and to earn money in the process. Knowing what we know about money-making opportunities online, we can be able to distinguish the legitimate opportunities, from the ones that look like complete scams.

Are surveys a great way to make a bit of side income, or are they just a complete waste of time? We’ll be taking a look at one of the survey sites today, known as “SurveyJunkie”. We’ll be diving in and giving you our findings of what we found, so you know the good and the bad about this survey website. If you want to know more about online surveys and what exactly you could earn from “SurveyJunkie”, then read on.

So What Is “SurveyJunkie”?:

“SurveyJunkie” was launched in 2010 and is considered one of the oldest survey websites on the Internet. It was founded in Glendale, California. The founder’s name is unknown to us at this time. However, we have learned that “SurveyJunkie” is part of a larger company known as “DISQO!”, an online recruitment company. “DISQO” dropped the exclamation point from their name during a rebrand in 2018.

How Does SurveyJunkie Work?:

Like most of the survey websites that you’ll find online, “SurveyJunkie” has surveys that you can earn money from once completed in full. But In order to access these surveys, you must of course sign up on their website. The good news is that registration is absolutely free. However, the not so great news is that it’s only available to people who live in the United States, Canada, or Australia.

Once you have gone through the motions and have all of your personal information uploaded, you go to the dashboard. From there, you can choose which survey you would like to take, to start earning money. Some claim that you can earn anywhere crom $2 to $75 per survey. However, we know that the surveys that are high-paying are often few and far between (and even very complex). One user had claimed that you can earn higher dollar amounts if you join a focus group.

Like most surveys, you still get to earn something if and when you fail the requirements of a survey. In other words, if you complete the survey you get the full amount. But if you don’t complete the survey due to not meeting certain requirements, you then will only get a fraction of what you would’ve earned. Either way, it’s not gonna seem like much. But it’s good to know you still get credit for the effort. With that said, we consider this benefit to be a green flag, considering the fact that most survey sites don’t operate like this.

One thing that really stuck out about “SurveyJunkie” was its transparency. We are adamant about any money-making opportunity being as transparent as possible. They’re not the kind of survey website that’s boast about how much they’re payouts average, or about already paying out millions of dollars to it’s affiliates. They tell you upfront that doing surveys is not the best way to earn a living. But you can still earn a bit extra if you are consistent in taking these surveys on the regular basis. While “SurveyJunkie” tells you this all up front, some other survey websites talk that “big money” earning potential hype.

A screen shot picture of SurveyJunkie website page

Bonus Points For Signing Up With”SurveyJunkie”:

One of the things that we noticed about “SurveyJunkie” is that you can earn an upwards of 100 points or more right off the back, just after signing up with them. Let us explain. So you’ll already earn 25 points just for signing up. But if you were to completely fill out your profile, you would then earn another 50 points. Confirm your email address and that’s another 25 points. So that’s 100 points you’ll earn right after signings up, just like that. You can than earn an additional 15 points just by doing the “how it works” tour of their website, and complete surveys that round out your profile, demographics, etc. We cannot think of another survey website off the top of our heads that can do that right away. If there is one, give us a heads up and we’ll make a note of it.

Email Notifications:

Of course, if you are looking to take surveys and earn points regularly you can get them straight to your email. You can set the frequency of how many you would like to receive in a single day. If you’re the kind of person that doesn’t want a cluttered inbox, you can keep it to at least once a day, or shut it off completely. The emails aren’t really that spammy in our opinion. But if you have a Gmail account that you use, odds are those surveys may end up in either the spam folder  or the “promotions” tab. But for the most part, they should have no trouble making it to your main inbox.

How Do The Points Work?:

To clear up any confusion, you earn points that are equivalent to cash. Think of the points in penny terms. For example 100 points will equal $1 dollar. So if you have earned 1000 points total, that would equal $10 dollars. The minimum payment threshold where you would be able to cash out, is 1000 points. You can recieve this money in the form of either a gift card, or cash. A $10 minimum payout seems more appealing considering the fact that there are other survey websites online, that have a minimum payout of $20 or more. On paper, it doesn’t seem all that difficult to reach 1000 points, compared to taking and completing many surveys that would have to equal 2000 points/$20 dollars, just for you to cash out.

With that said, if you choose the cash option, you’re going to need to cash out all your points. From there, your points will be transferred to PayPal as cash. If you are opting for a gift card, then you may want to keep in mind that most gift cards come in denominations of $5, $10, $15, and so on.

Survey Junkie Is Not Like The Others:

Here’s what we mean by this. If you go on any ordinary survey-taking website, you’ll notice that there are other ways to make money. These include but are not limited to watching videos, taking quizzes, “surfing” the web, and so on. While these sites promise that you will earn something, it’s basically the equivalent of what you earn for points if you fail a survey. “SurveyJunkie” eschews these methods and just sticks to surveys, and nothing but surveys.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • Very easy to earn points, even if there are “hit and miss” surveys
  • Low minimum cashout option
  • Plenty of surveys available on the regular basis
  • Actually accredited by the BBB
  • Plenty of gift card choices, if you decide to take that route

Cons:

  • You may not qualify for some surveys (which is pretty common)

Our Final Thoughts on “SurveyJunkie”:

If you are interested in completing surveys to earn money online then “SurveyJunkie” might just be the best option for you. After gathering what we know, this is definitely a legit website where you can take surveys and earn enough money to snag a gift card or some extra cash. As we mentioned earlier, it wouldn’t be a good way to make a living online. But if your just doing these surveys for the fun of it, you could really make some type of money while doing so.

“SurveyJunkie” is not some sleazy, dirty survey website like others that we have come across. If we had to say anything else, “SurveyJunkie” sets the standard of how a survey taking website should be. Some will make you work harder to earn more and cash out. But “SurveyJunkie” is on the side of fun, rather than challenging people and make things difficult. If you want to check it out for yourself, visit “SurveyJunkie” now and get started.

So, what do you think about the,”SurveyJunkie” program? Do you have something you would like to add? Do you believe this business is legit too, or a scam? Maybe you have a few questions concerning my “SurveyJunkie” review?

If so, let me know whats on your mind! Just leave your comments or concerns below in the comment section, and I’d be more than happy to respond. Thanks again for reading my post, and good luck with all your wonderful success online..

Fusion Cash-Is It Legit Or A Scam?

The green and black Fusion Cash website logo

Introduction:

There are plenty of ways to make money online. Whether it’s for work, or just for the fun of it. Well online surveys for the most part, is the latter. But the question is, which ones are considered legitimate, and which ones aren’t? Let us do that heavy lifting so you don’t have to.

One such survey website we’ll be taking a look at is “Fusion Cash”. Is it a legit survey website where you can make some extra money? Or is it one of those websites you might want to steer clear from. Let’s dive in so you’ll have all the answers to those questions, and then some.

What is Fusion Cash?:

“Fusion Cash” was founded in California, in 2005. The name of the founder is unknown at this time. It is considered to be one of the oldest survey websites online. One of the things we look for is how long they’ve been online. Considering that they’ve been online for quite a while, it seems like their business practices are quite standard. But do take this with a grain of salt going forward. They claim to have members in all 50 states and to be accredited by the BBB.

How Does “Fusion Cash” Work?:

Signing up for”Fusion Cash” is absolutely free. But right now, it seems like they are only accepting new members who live in the United States, or Canada. But once your able to sign up and confirm your email address, you will then be able to set-up your account and prepare yourself to take surveys. And there’s a few ways to make money with “Fusion Cash”, should you not qualify to complete one of “Fusion Cash’s” survey’s.

The first way to make money with  “Fusion Cash” is obviously completing surveys. Some claim that you can earn anywhere between $0.05 to $5 (or even more) per survey. Of course, the longer and more complex the survey, the more you’ll get paid. But what if you don’t qualify to complete that specific survey?

Meaning your trying to complete an online survey, but end up not qualifying because you don’t meet a certain requirement. In a case like this, you’ll end up not earning anything and having to use another avenue with “Fusion Cash” to earn cash.

Aside from completing surveys, you can still earn money with “Fusion Cash” thru watching video clips, searching on the web, listening to the they’re radio, completed they’re paid-to-call tasks, completing offers for a new product or service, and so on.

There are plenty of things you could do with “Fusion Cash”, once you’ve finished completing surveys that have been mailed to your inbox. And once again, the pay rate may not be the best and it obviously won’t be enough to make a full-time income. But the good news is that “Fusion Cash” does a good job at keeping plenty earning options available for you to earn money.

A black and white screen shot picture of "Fusion Cash"

How Are Members Getting Paid?:

From what we were able to gather, “Fusion Cash” members can choose to get paid using three different methods. “Fusion Cash” members can get paid thru a mailed check, direct deposit, or Paypal. And there’s no option that offers you any gift cards like most survey websites. Nine times out of ten, it would seem logical for people to opt for the PayPal option over all else (which most people do), so they can get they’re earnings right away. Once you’ve decided how you want to get paid, here comes the downside.

Your payment request is only paid out on the 20th of each month. After your payment is approved, you then have to wait an additional 1 to 5 days before the money is paid to you. Though this may seem like a disadvantage, the good news is that they will never knock off any amount of money for “processing” fees.  But what can be a disadvantage is getting to the minimum payment threshold (which you would have to obtain) in order to cash out.

The minimum amount you must earn to qualify for payout, is $25. And here’s where it gets a bit confusing. $15 of that has to be made from personal earnings and NOT referrals. Yes, you can earn money from referring friends to sign up. But you’ll have to work for it in order to earn it.

It might make some sort of sense, but you can be sure that it can be a turn off to potential users. Compared to other survey websites, it may take a while to reach $25. Especially when you’ll be earning small amounts from completing most surveys, but won’t seem to get the earnings from it, due to not meeting certain survey requirements.

The Good vs. The Bad:

We were able to dig up quite a bit about the good and the bad of “Fusion Cash”. If you want a comprehensive guide on what we’ve discovered, here’s what you need to know now:

The Good:

Free to sign up: Of course, this is to be expected among most survey websites. If you come across a survey website that wants you to pay to sign up (and it supposed to be a survey website), it might be a scam, and it’s best to stay away from it.

You do earn a some kind of money: Though the range of earnings does vary, some surveys pay you more than others. Plus, you’ll have plenty of surveys to complete. So if you want to earn money just for the fun of it or because your bored, completing surveys might be a good place for you to start.

Plenty of other non-survey options: Of course, I think doing other tasks aside from surveys is a great way to earn more money online. If you want to watch video clips and earn some extra cash, it’s possible. Want to earn a couple dollars more for shopping, why not take on the opportunity. You can really do that with “Fusion Cash”. You are not limited to just completing surveys.

The Bad:

It’s only available to US and Canada citizens: If you live in the US or Canada, you’re in luck. But if you live in Australia, sadly you won’t be able to sign up for “Fusion Cash”. If you do live in Australia and are still interested in making money completing surveys online, consider signing up for “SurveyJunkie”. “SurveyJunkie” would most definitely be a great alternative.

Your choices may be limited: While you might have plenty of online survey opportunities to choose from (and other non-survey tasks), there will be days when your options might be limited. This is another big reason why you shouldn’t rely on completing surveys, as a way to make a full-time income online from home.

Potential spam in your inbox: If you are signing up for “Fusion Cash”, we highly suggest that you use a “burner” email. The reason why is because you might get spam emails from third-party partners of “Fusion Cash” daily. So with this case, we suggest that you use a new separate email address, that’s specifically entended for “Fusion Cash”. This way you won’t have to bother with tons of spam emails being mixed with your important emails.

You’ll be waiting for your earnings: If struggling to earn a $25 for a minimum payout balance isn’t enough, waiting for your cash will be more excruciating. With PayPal, you’ll be waiting 1 to 5 business days after your payment request has been approved. For checks and direct deposits it could take 2 to 10 business days.

A screen shot picture of Fusion Cash website green, black, and white website page

My Final Thoughts And Conclusion For “Fusion Cash”:

While “Fusion Cash” is one of the more legitimate survey websites on the Internet, you can also consider some other options as well. You can check out “SurveyJunkie”, “Swagbucks”, or “Inbox Dollar”, and earn some extra money with them too, if you have the time to do so.

Earning money online is fun, if you are doing something like taking and completing surveys. But if you are serious about making money online, on a full-time basis, reach out to us, and we’ll give you some better ideas.

So, do you happen to have something to say about the,”Fusion Cash” program? Maybe you have something to add? Do you believe this business is legit too? Maybe you have questions concerning my “Fusion Cash” review?

If so, let me know what you have to say! Leave your comments or concerns below in the comment section, and I’d be more than happy to get back with you. Thanks again for reading my post, and good luck with all your success online..

Wujiang Textile Co. LTD: Scam or legit?

Introduction:

Work at home scams are everywhere. So the best thing that we can do here at LegitWorkOnlineForReal, is make sure that you steer clear from them, before you end up becoming they’re next victim. In this article, we’re going to cover a company known as “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD”. So without further or due, let’s jump into what we’ve dug up about this online company.

The History Of “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD”:

A simple Google search has yielded multiple results of similar names such as:

  • Wujiang Wangduo Textile Co. Ltd
  • Wujiang BTFX Textile Co. Ltd
  • Wujiang (Insert name here)?

There seems to be different variations of the same name. But upon further research on Alibaba, each company is different in terms of names and the years they have been founded. So depending on which company that carries the Wujiang Textile Co. Ltd name, the information is much different.

screenshot pictures of Wujiang Textile Co. LTD cloth products

What These Companies Do?

The “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD” company claims to be a supplier and manufacturer of textile goods. More specifically, they manufacture and supply items like curtains, bedsheets, and clothing to those selling these products thru their online store. If you were to Google the name, you’ll also notice there’s different names that come up in the search (as we mentioned earlier).

We can also assume that they supply different categories of textile goods. For example, the “Wujiang Danlu Textile Co” appears to offer fabric patterns. This might be used for manufacturing clothing. Another one, known as the “Wujiang Hailihong Textile Co Ltd” is supplying swimwear and shorts. You’ll probably also notice that some of these companies have different variations in names, but pretty much supply the same goods.

How Companies Like This Work?:

By the looks of what we see from the search results, these reveal types of manufacturers and suppliers that are based in China. These are probably companies that are often connected with those who are in the eCommerce and dropshipping niches. Most eCommerce store owners and drop shippers often rely on companies based out of China, to supply them with items they intend to sell online to their clientele.

The way it works is the store owner will initiate a conversation with the company. They’ll often ask for such things like samples and acquiring them for a price that is less than the usual “charge per piece price”. They do this to test the quality of the products before they sell them to their customers. This is also done for the purpose of preventing less refunds for their store and making sure their customers get good quality products.

What some of the eCommerce and dropshipping gurus will tell you is that you’ll need a burner email. You’ll need to use this burner email to contact the suppliers because your inbox has a high chance of being stuffed with tons of spam email. So here’s your early warning, you will be spammed a lot.

We also came across an old “Work From Home” scam article (upon further research), that was dated all the way back to 2007. This article implicated “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD” as being part of a “work from home scam”. To be more specific, this was said to be one of those wire and check cashing scams. In the article, it contained an email from someone claiming to be from the company offering a work at home job opportunity. The email happens to have the same characteristics and structure as a typical 419 scam email.

It would use a legitimate company name like “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD”. At this point, we can assume that’s how the company names are structured in China. These types of scammers lure unaware people with a false sense of security. And it always starts with a legitimate brand name. The sad thing about it is that these companies are not aware of something like this. As a result, their reputation is tarnished.

As for all work at home scams, it is important to know that these are not legitimate work at home job offers. If you truly want a work at home gig, then you’re always going to have to initiate the search yourself. No one is ever offered a job opportunity without having to initiate the conversation themselves.

You should never give any personal information to any “recruiters” over the Internet, or by telephone. You must always contact the company themselves to verify whether or not the person who contacted you is an actual employee. However, this would be a more difficult task if the company in question is based outside of the United States.

For Those Considering eCommerce and Dropshipping:

If you’re an eCommerce or dropshipping store owner, it is always important to do your due diligence and do your homework on potential suppliers you might want to work with. For example, you’ll always need to rely on Alibaba to find a reputable supplier, or manufacturer. There are all kinds of resources on the Internet that will help you determine which suppliers are reputable and which ones are considered to be the “bad apples”.

One of the ways to determine whether or not a supplier is legitimate, is to first request for samples of the product your thinking about purchasing. You’ll want to test them for a few reasons. One, you’re testing the overall quality of the product itself. Does it damage easily? Are the colors intact from the garments after washing? If you don’t run into any quality issues, that’s a good sign. Another reason to run one of these test, is to see if they really deliver in within the time periods that they say. This way, you can tell your customers upfront the estimated time of arrival, for the items they have ordered.

screenshot pictures of Wujiang Textile Co. LTD cloth products

So Is “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD” A Scam, Or Is It Legit?

With so many variations of names, it’s hard to tell if “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD’s” actually legitimate or a scam. If you’re looking for a supplier for your eCommerce store, you should always do your research to determine if they are a legitimate supplier. And remember to always test their products before you partner with them as a supplier.

However, if you receive an email with a name that appears to be a reputable company, watch out. If they offer something that appears to be a work from home job offer, then there’s a good chance that it could be a scam. These companies like “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD” may not be aware that there are scammers who may be posing as employees of the company. Regardless if it is a U.S based company or a foreign company, you should steer clear if a scammer contacts you via email about a “job offer”. Point blank, end of discussion..

Do you have any experience with using “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD”? Do you have any questions concerning my “Wujiang Textile Co. LTD” scam review? If you do, please leave your comments or questions below, and I will be more than happy to get back to you. Thanks again for checking out my post, and good luck with your success online.

Is TextBookRush Legit Or A Scam?

screenshot pictures of TextBookRush homepage

Introduction:

For those of you out there who are college students, you know that each year we buy expensive textbooks for our classes. And when the semester is completed, you can sell them through a buyback program and get paid back a fraction of what you paid . Some of us are bewildered on the fact that we get so little back.

However, there’s an alternative to this provlem that does exist. It’s called “TextBookRush”. According to they’re website, not only can you buy or rent textbooks, but you can also sell them. But is it the real deal, or an outright scam? Let’s dig a little deeper into “TextBookRush” and see what this is all about.

How TextBookRush Got Started?:

“TextBookRush” was founded in 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. The current president and CEO of “TextBookRush” David Dimm. However, “TextBookRush” didn’t start as an online business. In 1994, they opened up a store in Columbus, Ohio. This was followed by a second store that opened up on the campus of The Ohio State University in 1998. Once they entered the online realm, TextBookRush was not the original name. In their initial 2001 launch, they were known as TextbooksRus.com. In 2013, they rebranded as TextBookRush. As of today, the company has 130 employees and counting.–

screenshot pictures of TextBookRush homepage

How Does TextBookRush Work?:

TextBookRush gives users the option to buy, rent, or sell their textbooks. For those who are buying or renting textbooks, they’re looking for reasonable rates that are better than what they would find at their campus bookstore. But it doesn’t stop there. It has also become a marketplace for people who want to buy or sell movies or video games. Upon further review, the titles of the video games are from gaming systems that are either barely used or considered obsolete. However, the movie titles on sale look pretty decent.

So, what if you want to sell your textbooks, video games or movies? Let’s go through the step-by-step process that is outlined on their site. First, let’s begin with the textbooks:

  • First, you find your textbook by entering the ISBN number in the search function located in the “sell textbooks” page of the site.

  • Check the edition of the textbook. Most textbooks should have a U.S. Student edition. If it doesn’t, then you can click on “I have another edition” and choose what you have. If the edition you have isn’t listed, it’s not currently being purchased at that time.

  • If you have a U.S. Student edition, you can proceed by clicking on the “Add To Sell Cart” button. You will be given a quote that you must accept. Remember that the prices are a quote and may be subject to change. If you have a different edition, once again you go through the motions and find that version on a list. Then proceed as usual. The buyback must total at least $15 in order for it to be accepted.

  • Finally, you go through the checkout process. If you do not have a TextBookRush account, you will be asked to create one before you proceed.

  • Once you’ve checked out, you can set up how you wish to be paid. Your options are cash, PayPal or store credit. Once you verify your address and review the terms and conditions, then you can click on “complete buyback”.

  • Next, you print off your shipping labels and attach them to the packages that you’ll send to TextBookRush. Be sure to review their packaging and shipping guidelines before you send them out.

If you’re selling video games or movies, the process is pretty much the same. You enter the UPC in the search function, mark the game as either new or used, and accept the quote given. Create a TextBookRush account if you don’t have one, verify your address, submit how you want to get paid, and ship them out. Simple, right?

What People Are Saying About TextBookRush:

Most of the reviews have been pretty solid on some review sites. However, Yelp in particular had an average of one star out of 57 reviews. By the sounds of them, they sound like they were expecting more money but got what they can possibly get out of it. Keep in mind that regardless if the reviews are positive or negative, always take them with a grain of salt. It’s important to do your own due diligence before you make a decision. If something doesn’t seem right, don’t proceed with it. Simple as that.

Some were satisfied with what they got with their textbooks and we’re paid very quickly. Some said that it took forever for them to receive their money. According to the payment section of TextBookRush’s FAQ section, payment by way of check or PayPal will be delivered in 5 to 10 business days. However, you will receive store credit in as little as one business day. This can explain why some people are a little miffed about the timing of the payments. But it’s always important to know when you should expect payment before proceeding. Not too many people ever bother to read the fine print or do some digging. So it is highly encouraged you do so before using something like this.

Pros and Cons:

Pros

  • You can sell not just textbooks, but also movies and video games.
  • They have been around for quite a long time, so if they have been a scam, they would have been shut down already.
  • The store credit payment option comes in handy in case you need a textbook that can’t be found in your campus bookstore.

Cons:

  • The check and PayPal payment options do take 5 to 10 business days. This is a major con if you don’t have the patience.
  • The quote may be subject to change, so you may not get back what you might expect.

screenshot pictures of TextBookRush homepage

My Final Conclusion For TextBookRush:

The final verdict is clear: TextBookRush is legit. If they’re not, then it’s baffling that they’ve been around for so long. They provide a convenient option to those who want to buy or sell their textbooks. If you’re expecting to get rich off selling textbooks, you’ll be sorely disappointed. But you can make a decent amount of money off your textbooks depending on what the market price is.

Do you have any experience with using TextBookRush? Do you have any questions concerning my “TextBookRush” scam review? If you do, please leave your comments or questions below, and I will be more than happy to get back to you. Thanks again for checking out my post, and good luck with your success online..

MooCash: Is It Legit Or A Scam?

screenshot pictures of MooCash app

There’s a lot of ways to make money online. For the most part, they are legitimate. And let’s not forget that there are also some bad apples that are in the bunch. It is for that reason why some people feel weary to the idea of making money online. But our mission here is to put you at ease by reminding you that it is possible to make a decent income online. We will tell you which ones are legit, and which ones that are just plain scammy. Because the last thing we want is your online money making experience to be a bad one.

Today, we’ll be looking into an opportunity known as “MooCash”. So the question is can you earn money online simply by using a mobile app like. MooCash”? The short answer: it depends. The long answer: it depends on how it is all structured. What do we mean by this? Let’s take an app like AppBounty for example. The way they have it set up is members can download apps and earn enough points to redeem them for gift cards. They don’t earn money at all. However, if they meet specific qualifications, they can become a media partner. And media partners are the ones who actually earn the money.

screenshot pictures of MooCash app

So does “MooCash” adopt the same structure? Is it a real money making opportunity? Let’s dig into it now and find out.

The History Of “MooCash”:

While it is unclear who came up with the idea of “MooCash”, the service itself may be traced back to as early as 2016. At this point, you may consider it a cause for concern when you can match a face to the name. But this is probably common for most mobile apps that are designed for making money.

How To Install “MooCash”:

“MooCash” is available for both the Android and iOs platforms. On their website, they say that it’s available for download thru the Google Play store and Apple’s App Store. However, the links do not lead you to either place.

Instead, if you click to download the Android version, you are rerouted to a site where you can download the app via a third-party site. Any apps that are available for download outside of the Google Store or Apple’s App Store may serve as a red flag. The reason being is that apps that are downloaded through third-party channels may contain viruses, malware, and some other baddies that may affect your phone.

If you choose the iOs version, you’re redirected to a blog post on their site that teaches you how to download it manually. I’m sure they have every good intention of showing you how to download their app. But seeing it not available on approved sites like Google Play or Apple’s App Store may set off an alarm bell. Remember, if you wish to download apps outside of those sites, please do it at your own risk.

screenshot pictures of MooCash app

How It Works:

Once you have downloaded the app safely you open it up, the first thing you see looks quite similar. It’s set up the same way as SwagBucks or AppBounty. You earn coins that you can use to redeem rewards. How do you earn them? The concept is the same: you take surveys, download apps, visit pages, complete tasks, and so on.  So you have a wide range of opportunities to earn. Once you reach the minimum of $2 USD, you can request a payout. The minimum payout may also be $5 USD depending on which tasks you do. So 1,000 coins is the equivalent of one dollar. So if you earn either 2000 or 5000 coins, that’s when you’ll be able to cash out.

There is no equal, across the board value of coins that are distributed for every task you complete. Some tasks have a high value or pay, and some are just as little as a few coins. So, once you earn enough, you can also redeem them for something else other than good old fashioned cash. You can redeem it for a gift card or airtime for your phone. If you choose to earn money, you can have it sent to you by way of PayPal. At one point, it did have a bank transfer option. However, it was removed and probably for all the right reasons.

“MooCash” has apps that are available in their “family”. It’s a bunch of “Moo’s! These apps include “MooJoy”, “MooBucks”, and “MooLuck”. With “MooJoy”, you can play games and win free rewards. “MooBucks” is an app that will offer you discounts when you shop through certain brands online. And with “MooLuck”, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for raffles and win prizes like cash and gift cards. But you can actually download these apps by way of the Google Play store. We can’t say the same for “MooCash”.

Pros And Cons Of “Moocash”:

Pros:

  • Payout minimum of 2000 coins or $2 is pretty reasonable. Some apps will have a minimum payout of way more than that.
  • Payouts made available through Paypal. Meaning you can earn cash as an option.
  • There are other rewards options available if you really don’t need the money.
  • You earn 30 coins for every successful referral. Your friend gets 30 coins to start out.

Cons:

  • Payouts will take about 72 hours.
  • Paypal will charge a 3% transaction fee plus $.30 for each transaction.
  • The app itself is only available to download outside of the Google Play and the Apple App Store, which may raise some concerns.

screenshot pictures of MooCash app

My Final Conclusion For MooCash:

To conclude, “MooCash” is a legitimate opportunity. You can earn money through the app. But don’t expect to get rich off apps like this. One question that needs to be asked is why is this app in particular excluded from the Google Play and the App Store, while the other apps in the “MooCash” family can be found and downloaded from those places? Either way, you’re welcome to download the app, but you’ll need to do so at your own risk. The same applies for any other app that you download outside of the Google Play or the App Store.

Do you have any experience with using “MooCash”? Do you have any questions concerning my “MooCash” scam review? If you do, please leave your comments or questions below, and I will be more than happy to get back to you. Thanks again for checking out my post, and good luck with your success online..

Pure Leverage: Is It A Legit Online Opportunity Or A Scam?

screen shots of the pure leverage website

Making legit money online is possible. However, there’s a lot of options out there. You have a whole lot of good and a whole lot of bad. Here, we have a whole library of articles for you to check out that will help you make your final decision in jumping into a really legit, money making opportunity. At the same time, we save you time, money, and even headaches from the ones that are deemed a scam. Yes, you can make money online with the right opportunity. Yet, it’s easy for a lot of us to get sucked into something that sounds too good to be true.

With that out of the way, we’re going to dive into yet another online money making opportunity. This time, we’ll be looking at a company known as Pure Leverage. This is a program that appears to be in the Internet Marketing niche. One of the more popular ways of making money these days is Internet Marketing. The tried and true method of course is building an email list and selling products that are your own or as an affiliate. But will Pure Leverage give you…well, leverage in your online money making odyssey? Let’s get right down to it.

screen shots of the pure leverage website

What Is Pure Leverage?

Pure Leverage was founded in 1999 by Joel Therien. It is part of a company known as Global Ventures Opportunity. As of this writing, Therien also owns another company known as Now Lifestyle. Currently, Therien has over 5,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. The channel had no videos that had any connection to Pure Leverage, so it’s uncertain if he still plays a role.

Pure Leverage provides online marketing tools such as autoresponders, lead capture pages, video email services, and conference room meeting services (think Zoom). At $24.97 a month, it is considered one of the cheapest online marketing services on the market. Some users that have reviewed the marketing tools stated that while they are decent and usable, there is a lack of clear instructions that will show them how to use them.

Yes, Pure Leverage will help you make money with their online marketing tools. However, that’s NOT the money making opportunity we’re actually talking about today. More on what we’re really focusing on shortly. But if you are in the market for tools that will help you build an online business from the ground up, you can give Pure Leverage an extra look. Just remember to look before you leap.

A screen shot of the pure leverage website

What We’re Really Focusing On?

Getting back on track here, here’s what is our real focus with Pure Leverage. You can also be an affiliate. In other words, you can sell their suite of marketing tools to those who are in the market who are looking for these types of tools. Of course, they will consist of online entrepreneurs who are building out their sales funnels and collecting emails to build up their list. Getting down to the meat and potatoes of it, you earn 100% commission for every person that buys Pure Leverage marketing tools through you. Since it is a monthly continuity product, for every person who stays on, you get 50% per person. Using quick and simple math, let’s calculate the following:

$24.97 a month * 10 users (signed up through you) = $249.70

This is what you will obviously earn initially. Let’s say if all 10 stay on month after month, you get 50%. For each person, you earn almost $12.50. For those 10 people, you earn $125 a month. Now here’s where it gets interesting. You can also earn more money if you recruit other people from your frontline to help you sell Pure Leverage’s products. The way it works is this: for this example, let’s say you’re earning $1,000 a month in frontline commissions. Some of the people in your frontline turns around and becomes an affiliate themselves. Let’s say the total sales your frontline makes is $2000. You collect 50% of those sales, making it $1,000. So you make $1,000 in base commission and an additional $1,000 on top of that via your frontline’s sales. In total, you make a total of $2,000.

However, with this re-seller program, there is a catch. You’ll need to pay a fee of $19.97 a month in order to be a part of this program. Yes, if you want to join an affiliate program, they are usually free to join. However, there are some programs that are only available to those who have previously purchased the product. Because it is a product you have full faith and confidence in, paying for it is enough to become an affiliate. But it appears that it is open to just about anyone who wants to earn money by selling basic memberships and yes, even upsell tools.

What’s These Upsell Products?

These upsell products are not mentioned anywhere on the website. On the products page of the Pure Leverage website, it just lists the basic stuff. Yet, upon further digging, we were able to find out which ones they were. It’s unclear whether they’re still available or not. Here are a few of those upsell products:

  • Take Massive Action: This is priced at a one-time fee of $97. This consists of 12 hours of videos that consists of MLM marketers sharing their secrets of success. Among one of the names that stick out is Russell Brunson, who is the founder of an online marketing software company in his own right (Clickfunnels). The program is focused on those who want to build an MLM style of business.

  • Smart Marketing Coaching: This is a continuity upsell that is priced at $47 a month. The basic membership of $24.95 does not cover training materials that will help you make the most out of Pure Leverage. As part of this program, you’ll learn how to build an online business through Pure Leverage’s “head coach”. For as long as you stay a member, you will get one WordPress theme, one plugin, and dozens of private labelled books (PLR). The quality of the PLR books may vary, so it’s better to take each of them with a grain of salt before you go about selling them.

  • VIP Syndicate Center: This is a program where you can maximize your earning potential as a re-seller. So as a basic re-seller at nearly $20 a month, you are entitled to earn 50% of everything you sell. Want to earn 100%? Then you join this program.

Pros And Cons

Pros:

  • The re-seller program is open to anyone who wants to re-sell Pure Leverage’s basic package.
  • You initially earn 100% for each person who successfully joins through your link. And earn 50% for every month thereafter.
  • With sales from your frontline, you can maximize your earning potential. You earn the base 50% of commissions plus 50% what your frontline sells on top of that. Even better when your frontline’s total sales are more than your base commission.

Cons:

  • You have to pay $19.97 a month as a basic re-seller. That of course entitles you to 50% commission. But you’ll need to pay $97 if you want to earn 100% commissions each month.
  • The quality of these products are a mixed review. Especially the upsells.

screen shots of the pure leverage website

My Final Conclusion For Pure Leverage:

Pure Leverage is a legitimate online money making opportunity. On paper, the structure of how you earn commission looks good. Yet, the reviews on the base products and upsells are rather mixed. With that said, there’s a lot that needs to be changed if they Pure Leverage wants to be taken seriously.

One, there should be easy to follow instructions on users can navigate their tools. It wouldn’t seem fair to charge $24.97 for something that people can use, but would need to figure it out for themselves on how to use it.

Two, quality matters. If they’re serious about having people believe in their products enough that they can re-sell them, they need to make some improvements. Also, for the upsells, it would be nice if there was some material that would be more up-to-date (I saw one of the upsells was a series of videos from a marketing conference in 2014).

Yes, you can make money as a re-seller for Pure Leverage. But do so at your own risk. Remember to do your due diligence before making such a decision. And remember, it never hurts to say no to a money making opportunity, no matter how legit it really is.

Do you have any experience with using the Pure Leverage program, or do you have any questions about this program?  If so, please leave your comments or questions below and I will be more than happy to get back to you.

Is “Vindale Research” Really Legit? Get the Truth Now.

There are so many legitimate money making opportunities online. Yet, there’s always those so-called opportunities that sound too good to be true. But that’s our mission here. We determine which opportunities are legit, and which opportunities that are considered a scam. We do this so your experience with making money online is a good one. At the same time, we believe that doing your due diligence is important before diving in to any opportunity. Today, we will be digging into a site called Vindale Research. The question is: can you make money taking surveys from Vindale Research? Is it a legit opportunity?

Well, we’ll have the answer here soon. But for now, let’s talk about how it all started and how exactly you can make money from taking surveys. With that said, let’s get right to work:

a screen shot picture of the vindale research website

What Is Vindale Research?

According to their FAQ page, Vindale Research started in 2005. They have been responsible for delivering targeted studies to residents in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. They claim to have paid out well over $5 million to their members just for providing their insights on such big name brands. Those big name brands include Disney, Netflix, and Amazon.

Vindale is right up there with sites like Swagbucks and Survey Junkie. They claim to have clients like Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, General Electric, and other major corporations hiring them to do their customer research.

How It Works

In order to take surveys from Vindale Research, you’ll need to sign up for an account. It costs nothing to join. Once their registration is complete, users can start taking surveys. Of course, the initial survey that they take will be the usual information about themselves. Users have claimed that they’ve received $2 right out of the gate just for answering those questions. Once all is said and done, users can now access available surveys. Each survey payout depends on the length of the survey and whether or not if they are a good fit.

The surveys are very simple to take. While all the surveys are done on a desktop computer, users can take surveys on their smartphone or tablet. However, some surveys may not be compatible with those devices.

Aside from surveys, Vindale Research members can also take part in other opportunities that can earn them money. One can participate in a panel. These panels can also allow you the opportunity to earn more money and even win prizes at the panel’s discretion. One of the known panels partnered with Vindale is Springboard America.

Vindale also claims that they can pay you $5 just for leaving them a testimonial. All you have to do is take a picture of yourself with your first payment and leave a testimonial using the special testimonial form they give you.

But let’s not stop there, Vindale Research also gets their members to engage in these mini-scavenger hunts called “reward clues”. Subscribers are told to “be on the lookout” for these codes. That’s because they have no set schedule for when these codes are released. This is all part of the plan for subscribers to stay engaged.

Like Swagbucks, Vindale users can also get paid to watch videos. For each video, they get paid a small amount of money. You can also earn an easy $0.50 by answering a question of the day. All you have to do is leave a comment on their blog. At the same time, you’re entered into a drawing so you may earn more money.

Of course, like so many other survey websites, users can even get paid when they successfully refer their friends to Vindale Research. You’ll have a unique link that your friends can use to sign up. For every successful registration, you’ll receive a $5 referral bonus. However, in order to receive the $5 in full, your referrals have to be active.

Vindale also encourages users to follow them on social media to ensure they stay up to date on the latest money earning opportunities. It would appear that Vindale stresses the idea of staying engaged and making sure their users come back day after day to take advantage of all kinds of money making opportunities.

A screen shot picture of Vindale Research website, and How Much Money Can You Really Make

How Much Money Can Users Earn?

As stated earlier, Vindale Research users can take surveys that vary in monetary value. Which means the longer the survey, the better the payout. However, like most surveys, you may not earn the full amount if you do not qualify. But you will get paid anyways for the effort. The value of these surveys can range from $.25 to $50. Sometimes, Vindale will send a user a product to review. Once they successfully send a review, the user will get paid $75 as a result.

You can do this for as long as you can. It should be noted that the amounts are rather small. So if you expect to make big bucks or getting rich from surveys, you’ll be disappointed. The minimum payout for Vindale Research is $50 by way of check or Paypal.

Pros And Cons

Pros:

  • Free to sign up.
  • You can earn up to $5 if you successfully refer a friend.
  • You can earn up to $2 from the start if you opt to fill out a survey about yourself.
  • Lots of opportunities to earn more money other than surveys. Even joining panels will give you a chance to earn more money and even win prizes.
  • Does a good job to ensure all of their users stay engaged so they earn more every day.

Cons:

  • The minimum payout of $50 is rather high compared to other survey sites.
  • As usual, it’s hit or miss when it comes to the surveys. You can qualify for some, but often times, you may not get paid the full amount for a survey because you don’t qualify.
  • The audience reach is limited. It’s only available to residents in the United States, Canada, UK, and Australia.

A blue and white picture of the words, vindale get paid to take surveys

So Is Vindale Research Really Legit?

As I already stated, making money from completing online surveys won’t make you rich. But they can still serve as a good opportunity to earn some money. In the case of Vindale Research, they are one of the oldest survey websites around. And yes, you can earn money through completing surveys, watching videos, and even putting your face on their site with your first check. Is it a legitimate money making opportunity? My survey says, yes.

Do you have any experience with using the Vindale Research program, or do you have any questions about this program?  If so, please leave your comments or questions below and I will be more than happy to get back to you.

Is Gift Card Granny A Scam, Or Is It Legit?

screenshot pictures of Gift Card Granny website

Is it possible to earn gift cards online legitimately? The answer is yes. A couple of prime examples on where you can earn them is Swagbucks and AppBounty. Both are similar in how they function. You earn points and redeem enough of them to get a gift card of their choice. Yet, they’re not the only kids on the block when it comes to earning gift cards online.

Today, we’re going to pay a visit to our dear Granny. No, not the granny that bakes you cookies and knits you sweaters every time you come over. We’re talking about Gift Card Granny. We’ll find out what it is, how the whole thing works, the pros and cons, and make a final judgement in whether or not this is legit or if Granny is scammy. Let’s begin with the basics:

screenshot pictures of Gift Card Granny website

The History Of Gift Card Granny:

Gift Card Granny was founded in 2009 in Fort Collins, Colorado by Luke Knowles. As of today, the company headquarters is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Jason Wolfe listed as the current CEO. Gift Card Granny was part of a series of websites that Knowles had operated that were known as “The Frugals”. Along with Gift Card Granny, the other two websites that consisted of The Frugals were Coupon Sherpa and Free Shipping Day). At the outset, Gift Card Granny was a website that compared gift cards and how they stacked up in value. In the early years, Knowles was the one man band behind Gift Card Granny.

In 2013, Knowles sold the company to Wolfe, who in his own right owned a business related to gift cards. That business is known as GiftCards.com. In 2016, the latter was acquired by Blackhawk Holdings Network. Afterwards, Wolfe became the CEO of Gift Card Granny. As of today, the company has 39 employees.

What Is Gift Card Granny?

Gift Card Granny is a list aggregator for discounted gift cards. There are over 100,000 gift cards available on the site. And they are distributed across 1,000 brand name retailers. Among the list of stores include but are not limited to: Walmart, Starbucks, Home Depot, Target, Apple (not iTunes), and Google Play. Of course, we’re missing one: Amazon. Because upon further research, they’re currently out of stock at the time of this writing.

Gift Card Granny partners with other discount gift card companies and merchants. If a user is in search of a specific gift card, they can choose the brand they want in the directory. Next, they’ll come across a list of gift cards that are being sold by other people. Typically, people will sell their gift cards through a third-party that is partnered with Gift Card Granny (i.e.–CardKangaroo). These gift cards are usually sold at a discount price.

For example, if you go on the site and look for a Wal-Mart gift card, you see a gift card that has a value of $200. It’ll be sold at a slight discount such as 1%. Some others will vary in how much a buyer can save and may depend on which third-party seller they go through. So you click on the “View Deal” button and it will direct you to the third-party seller’s site. From there, you can add the gift card and purchase it at the discount price, like so.

Remember, gift cards can be sent by physical mail or email. Pay attention to this before you make a decision on which gift card to buy. If you ordered an electronic gift card, you should be able to receive it via email almost instantly, sometimes in minutes. Physical gift cards will take anywhere from 2 to 5 business days for delivery via USPS. Keep in mind that the delivery times may differ from seller to seller.

Got A Gift Card You Want To Sell? Here’s How You Do It:

Can you sell your unwanted gift cards on Gift Card Granny? Of course you can. In fact, they have an easy step-by-step guide on how to do it. The first thing you do is find their “Sell A Gift Card” option. You can access this using the by clicking the “more” option on top of the page. Then it’ll open up a menu that will give you the option to sell a gift card.

Once you’re on the page, you will enter the store name of the gift card you’re trying to sell. Then you enter the amount and then click the big “get offers now” button. You’ll soon see offers from various sellers. Also, if you want to sell online, be sure to get a good idea of who the sellers are. Here’s the current list that Gift Card Granny is partnered up with.

Selling your gift card online is the much faster option. Believe it or not, Gift Card Granny also has an option where you can find a physical location on where you can sell your gift card. These include grocery stores, pawn shops, check cashing service centers, and more. The major con is depending on your location, you won’t be able to find a place. So you’re better off selling it online, anyways.

Now, let’s get to the offer part. You can sell it for a suggested amount or name your own price. Either way, you’re in control. Does it have to be an unused gift card? Not really. It can be barely used and can still be sold. Once you’ve successfully sold your card, you can receive your money via check, direct deposit, or PayPal once the merchant has accepted your gift card (physical or digital).

While buyers can buy gift cards in bulk, so can sellers. But they have to total to a certain amount.

A picture of the words, GIFT CARD GRANNY

Pros And Cons:

Pros:

  • You can sell your unwanted gift cards instantly using a suggested price.
  • If you’re not satisfied with the price, you can always name your own .
  • If you’re a buyer, you can buy one card at a discount price or in bulk. The choice is yours.

Cons:

  • If you use the discount locator and successfully find a buyer, you’ll be able to sell your card. Despite getting cash in hand instantly, it will be far less than what you would sell online.
  • Depending on how you want to get paid, it will typically take up to a week to receive your funds.
  • If you intend to sell in bulk, you have to have a total value of $2,500 or more in gift cards.

screenshot pictures of Gift Card Granny website

Is Gift Card Granny Sweet or Scammy?

Right off the bat, Gift Card Granny is one of the more popular places to buy gift cards at a discount price. As for selling them, it is a surefire way to earn money. If you have unwanted or unused gift cards laying around, you can sell them. Therefore, it’s legit.

Do you have any experience with using the Gift Card Granny program or do you have any questions about this program?  If so, please leave your comments or questions below and I will be more than happy to get back to you.

Is Zija International Legit Or Just Another Pyramid Scheme?

screenshot pictures of zija international

There are several ways to make money legitimately online. Yet, there are some bad apples that exist within the entire bunch. Some will allow you to make as much money as possible, while some of them come in the form of pyramid schemes where no matter how much money you spend, you don’t earn enough to “break even”. Just complete scam online opportunities!

Today, we’re going to look into a company known as Zija International. This article will determine whether or not if it is a legitimate way to make money, or if it’s another one of the many MLM pyramid schemes. Let’s learn a little more about Zija International and how they operate.

A green and white picture of the Zija Logo

What Is Zija International?

Zija International is a privately owned multi-level marketing (MLM) company, that was founded in 2005. They are currently headquartered in Lehi, Utah. Zija is known to distribute products that are related to weight management, nutritional, energy and performance, skin care, and essential oils. It was founded by Ken Brailsford.

Brailsford created the idea of Zija, after watching a documentary about a miracle tree. Prior to the inception of Zija, Brailsford was already retired from his role as CEO of Enrich International, an herbal supplements company.

It was because of this documentary that would inspire Brailsford to get back in the business game. Zija would hit the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies three consecutive times, from 2013 to 2015. Their highest ranking being #503 in their debut year on the list.

What Specific Products Do They Offer?

Here are a list of products that are commonly sold via Zija International:

These are derived from the superfood known as Moringa oleifera. It is claimed to have health benefits such as heightening mental clarity, increasing energy, maintaining healthy blood sugar levels, and promoting healthy digestion, among other benefits. Zija also claims that Moringa contains over 90 verifiable nutrients.

  • Ameo: Ameo is Zija’s line of essential oil products. It is sold in a tincture and can be used in multiple ways. They can be added to drinks, used for culinary purposes, applied onto skin, or added in a diffuser. Zija claims that their essential oils are beneficial for the overall well-being of their users. How Do People Make Money With Zija?

Is it possible to make money with Zija? That is the question that a lot of people ask. And if so, how does it work. Keep in mind, Zija is a multi-level marketing company. So in essence, someone selling Zija products can be able to recruit other people to help them sell the products as well. As someone who distributes Zija’s products, you can do it in two different ways: the first of course is making sales yourself.

The other way is to grow a team. As far as product acquisition goes, you will need to purchase the products at a wholesale price and sell them to customers. Compare this to the typical way of selling a product using the MLM model, where you get a percentage of every customer’s total order.

However, you do buy the products using your own money. So from the start, you’re losing money. Another unfortunate thing is you’re not sure what your customers want. So now this involves playing a guessing game when you buy the products that you want to sell. If you’re really smart, you can talk to people you know, and listen to what they’re looking for.

Only then can you choose which products you want to sell, because it will be useful to their certain need. Assuming that you don’t sell your products at a discount, you can stand to earn at least a 20% profit of everything you sell. However, most MLMs allow you to earn up to 30% commission, even if you don’t purchase the products upfront.

Bear in mind, just selling the products alone won’t give you that substantial income. If that is your goal, this is where the team building comes into play. This of course is self-explanatory: you recruit people to sell products. And you and your teammates promote the sales.

The team commission setting is a tricky one. By this, here’s how it is set up. You have two legs: a power leg and a lesser leg. Yes, that’s right. You’re probably going to end up building two teams just to sell these products. And your bonuses determine how well both teams perform compared to each other. However, if one team does well and the other does not, your earning potential will likely suffer.

The income potential comes from building generations. So whoever you recruit first, is considered the first generation. And whoever the first generation recruits is the second. You can guess where exactly this will go. So if you build a large enough team, odds are your income potential will increase. The higher you rise through the Zija ranks, the higher you earn.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • If you are passionate about the products Zija sells, you will have an easier time selling them.

  • The team setting will give you more of a boost in your income. If you are good at recruiting people that have the same interest as you, the better off you’ll be.

Cons:

  • You’ll earn a little less in percentage compared to other MLMs. 20% tends to be on the low side of commissions.

  • Having to buy the products themselves at wholesale prices will set you back financially. Especially when you have no idea what people want for a product.

  • The team setting structure is just a headache to deal with. One team can ruin your earning potential, even if the other team performs exceptionally well.

My Conclusion: Is It Legit or A Scam?

Despite some of the cons outweighing the pros, Zija seems to be well-intentioned with their line of products. It is a legitimate money making opportunity, but can be a ton of work if you want to maximize your earning potential. If you have an easy time recruiting people to join your team, you’ll have an even better shot at earning a decent income.

Is “AppBounty” Legit or a Scam Review: The Untold Truth Exposed

a screenshot picture of AppBounty website app

Is it possible to make money using a mobile app? Well the jury is out! The untold truth, is finally exposed. With such programs like SwagBucks, it makes it possible to earn money, or even gift cards from brand names such as Amazon, or the iTunes store.

But not all apps are created to be the same. And to prove that, we’re going to take a look at one of them today. The app in question today: AppBounty. We’re going to determine whether or not if it is a legit way to make money, or if it’s a scam that is luring people in on the promise of making fast cash. Let’s dive in and see what we’ve got.

The Story Of AppBounty?

It is unclear when AppBounty started and who created it. But found on the customer support forum, is a supposed story of AppBounty. Right off the bat, it’s concerning. Typically, you’ll know who created the app and why they developed it.

So…What’s The Catch?

What exactly is the purpose of AppBounty? It is an app that allows you to download certain apps. And when you download them, you earn credits. Easy enough, right? You can even earn points just by downloading apps, playing certain games, watching videos, and yes even taking surveys. So it has that SwagBucks kind of style to it. You don’t have to keep the apps on your phone. But you are probably expected to keep the app on your device for at least a few days, in order to really earn any credit for it.

Of course, once you reach a certain number of points, you can redeem them for gift cards. The gift cards they claim to have available are through reputable brands like Amazon, Google Play, the iTunes Store, and more.

Of course, you can earn extra points if you refer a friend, and they successfully download the app. You earn 250 points for every friend you successfully refer. And when they sign up, they get 50 points right off the bat. Just a standard referral system, with a nice little incentive for both you and your friends. You can invite friends by way of Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, or good old fashioned email.

The lowest threshold of reward points is 2500. At that point, that’s enough to redeem a gift card that contains a value of $5. Obviously, if you want a gift card with a larger amount, you’ll need to earn more to redeem it. Simple as that. That will take a lot of work.

Remember, when you redeem your points for a gift card, you won’t receive them instantly. You must allow up to 48 hours before the gift card is delivered to you.

Can You Really Earn Money From It?

The short answer: Yes and no. Let’s begin with the “no” part first. If you are a member and use the app to download the other apps and such to earn reward points, you only can redeem them for gift cards. That’s about it. Now here comes the “yes” part. It is possible to earn money through AppBounty. But here’s the catch: you have to be a media partner. In other words, if you have a social media account or YouTube channel with 10,000 subscribers or more, then you can earn real money through AppBounty.

You can create a video and AppBounty will share it with their users, thus giving you more exposure and a chance to increase your audience. Plus you get a special affiliate code they can use to join the app. And in order to grow your following some more, you can also take part in giveaways that AppBounty will set you up with.

So all you have to do is make a video that promotes AppBounty using your special code and that’s about it. When you get a successful invite, you earn 250 credits. Which is the equivalent of $0.50. In theory, if you want to earn $500, you’ll need to have 1,000 people successfully sign up.

Unless you have a large following on social media and become a media partner, you are only limited to earning so many points and redeeming them for gift cards. However, media partners won’t always have successful referrals. Just because they have a large following, doesn’t always guarantee that they’ll make a lot of money from being a media partner.

If you expect to earn money just by downloading apps, you’ll be disappointed. Of course, there are a handful of negative reviews that say they never got money by earning these points. Since you’re probably considering AppBounty, hopefully this is the first thing you’re reading.

Pros And Cons

Pros:

  • Multiple ways to earn. Not only will you have the option of downloading apps, you can also “earn and play” with certain games, watch videos, take surveys, and so on. What you earn, will depend on the activity that you do. The number of points will differ with each download.

  • Easy to use. And it’s easy for you to earn no matter how you use it.

  • You can earn enough to redeem for a gift card quickly. But remember that it may take longer if you’re gunning for a higher value gift card (i.e.–$25 or $50 Amazon Gift Card).

  • Whether you are a member, you can earn 250 points for every successful referral. On top of that, the people who signed up will earn 50 points from the start.

  • If you are a media partner, you can earn money for each successful referral.

Cons:

  • As a member, you’re only regulated to redeeming your points in exchange for gift cards. You won’t earn cash, period.

  • It may take some time to earn credits for certain things. As mentioned earlier, you may not earn credits by simply downloading an app and immediately uninstalling it. You’ll probably need to keep it on your device for a few days.

  • Gift card delivery is not instant. You’ll need to wait at least 48 hours for delivery.

Final Verdict

Despite the backstory being a mystery, AppBounty is the Android/iPhone version of SwagBucks. And yes, this is a legitimate opportunity to earn points in exchange for gift cards. Unless you intend to build out a large following for the sake of being a media partner (which may take a painstakingly long time), you’re better off just earning and redeeming for gift cards. No app will ever make you rich. But using apps like AppBounty can be fun when used correctly.

But other than that, would you happen to have something to say about “AppBounty”? Maybe something to add to what I’ve already mentioned? If you do, please feel free to leave me a comment below.
