Why I did this Review of Swagbucks:

Before I begin. Let’s get real. As you will read in this post, I discuss how 1 swag buck equals just over a cent. Yes – just over $0.01. Don’t get me wrong. This is a fun program. But you will need other streams of income if you are looking to (even at the very least) supplement your income. Keep reading.

But, if you already know – by having this little cent piece of information that Swagbucks would be a waste of time for you – think about what you want to do regarding online business. How Does Swagbucks Work?

Swagbucks is a place for earning rewards, for shopping you already do on your computer and/or phone. You can earn points at your own convenience, which they call Swagbucks (SB).

You earn these points when you shop at your favorite stores (online) like Walmart, Amazon, Target. If it’s not when your shopping, then it’ll be when your playing games, answering surveys, or when you are watching videos. Pretty simple right?

And the most popular way for earning points, is by searching the web. You then can redeem your SB (Swagbucks) for cash through PayPal or for Gift Cards to your major department stores, that you already shop at! And that’s about it.

Training and Tools:

With most of the operations you find in your Swagbucks account, you’ll already find them to be pretty simple and understandable. Especially the layout! The training at Swagbucks is explained step by step in video and written format. And in great detail.

They explain everything you need to know as far as the program functions, and the real bases to what you need to be doing to get started. And if you are using a mobile device, like a tablet or a phone, there’s an app you can download for that as well.

Who Is This Service For – Shop and Earn with Swagbucks:

Do you like shopping? Well, Swagbucks is for anyone out there (of age of course), who already uses a computer on the daily bases for shopping, and would like to earn some rewards while there doing it.

About The Support:

As a Swagbucks member, you’ll have full access to a huge community  of other members thru forums on the homepage. Members of Swagbucks who still need assistance are encouraged to email support for help should they have questions or concerns.

Swagbucks’ owners have been utilizing the YouTube platform, as a way of releasing website details  and updates to keep members updated.

Does Swagbucks Cost Money?

Swagbucks (SB) is absolutely free to join. You can use their website or mobile app to earn rewards with this opportunity.

Is Swagbucks Any Good? Can you Make Money?

Listing the Good Qualities first:

  • Signing up is free,
  • When you sign-up, you automatically get 30 (Swagbucks) Points,
  • Your earning (Swagbucks) for things you already like to do online,
  • 10 plus easy ways to earn (Swagbucks) including surveys, gaming, and using the search feature
  • Mobile friendly site available as well,
  • Over 15 million users worldwide.

Now for the Bad Qualities:

  • It’s tough building up a useable amount of (swag bucks),
  • the search feature rewards, might sometimes reward you with little to nothing,
  • You can get blocked from your site, if ever there be a forbidden search, in your “History”,
  • It’s very limited on the mobile site, meaning the full version would be your best way of dealing with (SwagBucks)

My Conclusion For SwagBucks:

Swagbucks is pretty cool in my opinion, and can be a nice time consumer! The kicker is: The slow process of the actual earning of the rewards. It can also be fun when playing the games. However, the need to dodge random ads during the process can feel frustrating.

As far as what you do and complete at SwagBucks, it supposed to make the service like a contest, but I wouldn’t wait around for anything big. For example, the cash payouts. For example, it takes 450 swag bucks to use towards a $5 gift card. Although you can earn “bucks” several different ways, 1 to 15 swag bucks. Guess what, though? The 1 equates to $0.01. The 15 equates to $0.15. Do YOU think Swagbucks is worth it? How many Swagbucks equal a dollar? My point exactly.

It can be fun, but it can be annoying, at the same time, while waiting for small payouts. But in conclusion, you would, at the very least, be able to depend on this company for small rewards (cash included) when shopping, or doing other activities, on top of the fact that Swagbucks is completely legit!

Have fun earning your rewards.

What Would I Suggest for A Better Alternative

If you’re always shopping online, looking for a way to earn rewards, my alternative is to investigate and learn how to create your own “cash” rewards, 24/7, from a legit work online opportunity.

  1. Hassan, I would like to contribute to your review with my modest comment.
I am afraid I am going to have to agree with you when you say that Swagbucks is fun, so long as you don’t expect massive earnings from it.
The reason why personally I find it fun is given by the variety of activities you can practice. Browsing the web from Swagbucks platform or app is not any different than using any other browser, but at least you get to earn your much desired SBs by doing so. I am not a great shopper, but I also tend to earn my reward points by watching short movie trailers or news-like trailers. It all contributes to build up your rewards, and does not cost you a dime.
A big downside – and again I have to agree with you on this – is given by the fact that it takes forever to build up a substantial amount of money.
I guess the choice is the one of the individual who may not mind so much dedicating too much of their time to join in Swagbucks fun, so long as they are not in a rush to earn big money 🙂
Thank you ever so much, Hassan, for your honesty in reviewing Swagbucks.

    1. No problem my pleasure GiuliaB! And thank you for that nice addition. I think you made Swagbucks a little more clearer for us all. Thanks a lot again GiuliaB, and I wish you nothing but the best.
